Requirements Engineering
Effective and efficient product development through optimised Requirements Engineering.
Contact usWhat is Requirements Engineering?
Our definition of Requirements Engineering
Requirements Engineering (RE) is divided into different phases and includes the systematic collection (Requirements Elicitation; REL) of requirements for products. These are detailed, implemented and verified in the course of requirements development (RD). Requirements Management (RM) is responsible for the lifecycle-wide management of requirements, including the interfaces to the related product development processes. RE is closely linked to Systems Engineering (SE) and Verification & Validation (V&V). Requirements engineering is supported by the use of IT tools.
Which added value do our consulting services in requirements engineering offer you?

We support you in the implementation of ASPICE
ASPICE is a domain-specific variant of the international standard ISO/IEC 15504 (SPICE) and has been declared by leading European vehicle manufacturers to be a binding and product liability-relevant standard also for their suppliers.
The aim of using ASPICE is to be able to handle complex systems with different domains safely and comprehensibly in the product development process. In particular, communication and the exchange of work results between OEMs and suppliers should be organised in a binding, efficient and high-quality manner.
In our consulting projects, we consider A-SPICE as a source of requirements for the development process and bring them in line with the requirements of other guidelines, important stakeholders and the users.

After only a few initial workshops, we will provide you with a roadmap for optimizing your RE that is suitable for your initial business situation and objectives.
RE is a core process of product development. In particular, it is closely linked to Systems Engineering (SE) and Verification & Validation (V&V). We design the interfaces between these processes in such a way that once requirements have been captured, they flow through all these processes and provide optimal support.
The introduction of a new RE tool is not an end in itself, but must be integrated into the existing IT tool landscape in the best possible way. Besides the functional requirements, the choice depends on the IT interface needs. When determining the best RE tool for you, we take advantage of our expertise in the application, configuration and customization of the most important RE tools available on the market.
